Tampa Bay RUTGERS player, Eric LeGrand suffered a spinal cord injury on Oct. 16th, 2010 playing against ARMY resulting him becoming a quadriplegic.
This morning his coach Greg Schiano, now coaching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, called him and told him that he wanted him on the team!
“Leading up to the draft, I couldn’t help but think that this should’ve been Eric’s draft class. … This small gesture is the least we could do to recognize his character, spirit and perseverance.”
Congrats to go Eric!
